Brief CV 

Professor Dimitrios Madytinos holds a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration and Informatics from Lund University in Sweden and a PhD in Financial Modeling from Greenwich University in London. Today, Dimitrios is Professor of Business Administration and Informatics at the International University of Greece. In the past, and starting from 1985, he worked at the Technological Educational Institute of Kavala and then at the Technological Educational Institute of Eastern Macedonia and Thrace and passed through all academic levels (from lecturer to professor). He has taught courses related to Business Administration, Informatics and e-business and commerce, both at undergraduate and postgraduate level.

His research interests are in Financial Modeling, Measuring Business Profitability, Investor Behavior, E-business and e-commerce, Internet Use and Applications, Digital Business, Digital Information, and Marketing Markets. Supply Chain Management. He has 3 books and 58 published researches in international scientific journals and more than 80 participations in international scientific conferences. In addition, he participates as a member of Scientific Committees in international scientific journals such as: Qualitative Research in Finance Markets, and European Research Studies Journal, among others, and as a reviewer in international scientific journals such as: Industrial Management & Data System, Management Research Review (MRR), Cyberpsychology, Behavior, and Social Networking, Journal of Enterprise Information Management, Journal of Accounting, Auditing and Performance Evaluation, Baltic Journal of Management.

Dimitrios appears in Scopus with 29 published scientific papers, with 743 heteroreferences and h-index 12, while in Google scholars he appears with 2,736 citations, with h-index 21 and i10-index 31 (10.12.2021).

His involvement with European research projects is strong. Recently, he successfully submitted an application and is the head of the Strategic Corporate Social Responsibility project- The Case of Europe, Erasmus + 2019-2021– Strategic Partnerships KA203.

Other Activities

He is a member of the Economic Chamber of Greece, a member of the Hellenic Society of Computer Scientists, a member of the Accounting and Financial Society of Greece and a qualified football coach. He is five times (2007, 2010, 2013, 2017 and 2021) elected part of the board of directors (Executive Board Member) of the Prime Networking network, representative of TEI AMTH in the SPACE network, served as deputy head of the AFECA network, was a member of the committee Committee for the Diploma Supplement (diploma supplement – DS), was for a number of years a member of ELKE TEI AMTH, and a member of various research groups, was Head of Erasmus + of the School of Management and Economics and TEI AMTH (from 2017 to 2019), among others. He was responsible for organizing vocational training of the Chamber of Kavala in collaboration with the TEI AMTH.

He is a member of the Committee of European Educational Programs of the International University of Greece and is responsible for the University of Kavala.

He also served as:
