10 Days cultural festival T.E.I. of Kavala – 10 Days Cultural Festival T.E.I Kavalas
For the last 20 years, a 10-day cultural festival has been held in the central amphitheater of the Technological Educational Institute of Kavala, which mainly hosts musical artists from all over Greece as well as various other artistic events.
The 10-day festival is an autonomous organized effort of tei students who try every year to offer joy and fun to their fellow students – and not only -, while making it possible to participate in everyone as the entrance is free and the only revenues come from the bar and are allocated exclusively to the artists who support the festival with their presence, as well as in the sound installations of the TEI and in the cellar.
During the festival, apart from the musicians, various other activities take place such as screenings, social and ecological discussions, photography exhibitions, graffity events and jugglingshows.
The ten-day cultural festival is now an institution for the TEI but also for the entire city of Kavala and the surrounding areas. The vision of the organizers is the right of entertainment and expression outside concert venues, shops and art galleries, as it is the right of all.
